Laura Jean Polisky E-RYT
Founder and Owner of Sacred Space Yoga.
My style is infused with different Flow based traditions such as: ISHTA, Vinyasa, Viniyoga, and Life, as I’ve accumulated over the years through workshops, training and group classes with master instructors.
200 Hour ISHTA and 500 Hour MATKIN YOGA certified and Yoga Alliance registered since 2001.
For me, yoga has been my healer, my refuge, my saving grace. My best friend that is always by my side during my process and transformation without judgement. Yoga is just there with me to offer peace and love. I take great joy in sharing my yoga journey with students and being a part of their transformations.
My classes tend to be playful and spontaneous, which is a true reflection of who I am. I bring forth challenge to my students, but then again, so does life. Life’s challenges are amazingly put into perspective through my yoga practice and I emerge with a peaceful resonance every time, even on days I drag myself to my mat. And that, to me, is my purpose for teaching. To heal myself, to offer the tools I’ve acquired to others for their self healing, and...to have fun.
My vision for Sacred Space Yoga, “Yoga for the People”, has been with me for quite some years.
Making yoga affordable so that EVERYONE can practice yoga on a regular basis with quality instructors regardless of economic limitations. Creating a Community for Unity.
Yoga is supposed to liberate us from limitation, not place more limitation on us!
*Reiki Master: attuned to Nan Seedmans Intentional Reiki in 2001 and attuned to Heather Cummings Shamanic Reiki in 2009
Gina Lombardi, RYT
Gina has been a devoted yoga practitioner for 6 years. Always one to be physically active and fit, years of running had taken its toll on her lower back. Suffering from a herniated and bulging discs, she turned to yoga. What started out as a physical solution to lower back pain, transformed into a way of life for Gina. “I did not anticipate the full mind / body connection when I started yoga. It has not only centered me physically but emotionally and spiritually as well.” As a 200-hour RYT graduate of YogaWorks in Irvington and New York City and Yoga Allicance Certified; Gina’s style is Vinyasa based with foundations of the Ashtanga and Iyengar methods. Special emphasis is placed on instructing students safely in and out of poses focusing on alignment, component/body parts and class appropriate poses. She has participated in special workshops on Anatomy, Pre-natal, Pregnancy and Ayurveda to enhance her practice and teaching. “Yoga is a part of my core and my existence. For me, a day is not complete without yoga. I want to share this love and this philosophy with others!”

Lucy Conway, RYT
Lucy Conway, RYT500: is a seasoned yoga practitioner who has been studying various types of Hatha yoga since 1994. Before that she spent her time in the study of music and dance. Her yoga practice has been steady, and she has explored a variety of styles of yoga such as Kripalu, Viniyoga, Ashtanga as well as some Jivamukti and Vinyasa. Her certification is through Journey Into Yoga, a Kripalu affiliated yoga teacher training. Her focus of teaching is to lead her students to go within and to explore deep levels from their own heart with kindness and compassion for themselves. Through inquiry and observation in yoga postures the exploration deepens allowing space to open and energy to flow. This clearing of energy provides a pathway towards inner peace. In addition to her adult yoga classes, Lucy has awakened many young children to the joy of yoga through her teaching. Lucy Conway is a member of Yoga Alliance and Kripalu Yoga Teachers Association.

Caryna Wong, RYT
Caryna found yoga 9 years ago when an accident left her with neck pain and limited mobility. She discovered the healing benefits of yoga early on and has used her practice to help heal other injuries as well as manage scoliosis.
Caryna is a 200 hr R.Y.T. and received her Vinyasa training at Sonic Yoga’s Center for Yoga Studies in NYC. She also has practiced Bikram, Anusara, and Sivananda. Having worked at a desk job for 14 years, she is especially interested in undoing the damage that sitting in an office environment inflicts upon one’s body and mind.
Her classes are free flowing and energetically uplifting. Emphasis is on helping students find their own power to heal. Challenging and relaxing at the same time, the sequences aim to bring students to a state of bliss.
